Puccini's La Boheme

I used to go to the opera a lot more often than I do nowadays. The last one I went to before this week was La Traviata at Carnegie Hall about 4 years ago (beautiful opera, one of my all-time favourites). This week I went to see La Boheme at The Met, with Beth. The production was A-MAYYY-ZING. And yes, as usual I cried during the death. There is something about opera that brings all these emotions out in me - happiness, sadness, tears, smiles...

Anna Netrebko did a wonderful job as Mimi. I'm interested in seeing her again in another role now.

What's next? Hamlet, Aida, La Traviata... I wonder if my favourite of all time, Don Giovanni, will be produced anywhere? Reminds me of Prague, and of my balcony in Grenoble. Long story that I will save for another time...
