Aftershock: Three More Weeks!!

The countdown is on: less than a month to go now until we will all be walking around Discovery Park listening to our favorite bands play live, eating a ton of food, and taking multiple photos of the kids dancing, running, and playing drums. I’m still trying to figure out what we are going to wear (a few more trips to Evangeline’s, a few more thrift store pit stops, and a quick Grit n Glory order should sort that out), but I’ve already started putting my game plan together so that I make sure we are always in the right place at the right time. Aftershock fever has officially hit this household!

Band performance times have now been confirmed, and I can also confirm that we will be there all day, hopping from one stage to another! It made me happy to see that Blackcraft has grown so much that they now have a stage at Aftershock – I have some of their very first t-shirts from back in 2012 when they started out! I love seeing great brands grow big, it’s super inspirational.

Don’t forget that The Music Experience will have artist signings all throughout the weekend and we will definitely be hanging out for some of them! There is a great view of the Blackcraft stage from the Music Experience’s tent so you can basically catch a band and get your stuff signed at the same time.

Anyway I can’t wait! Who are YOU looking forward to seeing?! Shall I make a playlist?! We currently have Nothing More’s new album on rotation at home – it’s absolutely brilliant if you haven’t heard it already.

Still need to buy tickets? Get them HERE before they are all gone. And HERE is all the information that you will need on what you can/cannot bring into the site. It's one of those things I always scramble to look for the day before and I promised myself I wouldn't this year (scroll down to the FAQs).

(As a quick sidenote, if you are interested in following what’s going on at Louder Than Life in Kentucky this weekend, check out @alisontoonphotographer on Instagram – when she’s not running from stage to stage shooting bands she’s updating her stories with some festival shots).
